The dha, daab, or darb is a sword of Southeast Asian origin. Due to its appearance in multiple cultures and countries (Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and more) placing a definitive origin is difficult. The daab features a curved blade, a round grip, and no crossguard. They're often used single-handed but some variants exist with large two-handed grips.
This, as far as I am aware, is a Thai daab, which can be used single-wielded, or dual-wielded as Daab song mue. Daab song mue were famously used by the Siamese general Phraya Phichai Dap Hak who gained this name after he steadied himself upon one of his swords, breaking it in the process. Despite this, he continued to fight and lead his army to victory.
These daab can also be used either single or as daab song mue, replacing the Lost Allagan Saber for Paladins, and the Twinfangs for Vipers.
