Updated to be compatible with 7.1.0
This mod will still work in 7.2, but will have visual glitches on items that were improved with 7.2. For example, ARR Dragoon armor. I may patch this later, but right now I am not playing FFXIV.
This mod does not upscale new items added in 7.1 or 7.2. For example, 7.1/7.2 raid gear.

This covers all the items under bgcommon, and all housing items and housing zones.
What are bgcommon (world common) textures?
A texture that is called all over the game to render background stuff that isn't unique to a particular expansion. Further contains all cutscene textures.
What are Housing textures?
Anything associated with Housing Items, Houses, and the Housing Zones.
Default: 1x Diffuse and Normals. Probably all you need.
Variant: x2 Normals: This is an option for people with space to spare. It is not noticeable on most objects except for truly low resolution sets like the carbuncle set. Load this mod AFTER the main install of [Kartoffels Upscaled World Common and Housing Textures]. Yes, you still need to install the default version.
Note for mare synchronous enjoyers: The first time you install any of my 'upscaled textures' mods mare will take a moment to index all the data.
Everything I produce is open source and free use. If you appreciate my work you can donate to my kofi, but are in no way obliged to do so.
Remember mass is before I dedupe in penumbra so no it doesn't match the actual size you get.
mass:
normal = 2.02 GB @ BC7 x1
diffuse = 3.01 GB @ BC1/BC7 x2
DIFFUSE [ type= BC1 or BC7; scale = x2; cleaning = 1x_BC1smooth2; upscaling = 4x_scalenx_90k: downscaling = box]
NORMAL [ type= BC7; scale = x2; cleaning = 1x_BC1smooth2; upscaling = none; downscaling = none]
optional x2 Normals
mass:
normal = 4.88 GB @ BC7 x2
NORMAL [ type= BC7; scale = x2; cleaning = 1x_BC1smooth2; upscaling = 4x_scalenx_90k; downscaling = box]
