Hand-following VFX

Thank you to Dekken/(BSky) (because I've been using your mods since before I even began making my own, so you've been great inspiration) for helping me out with introductory VFX/Editor knowledge on request!
And Polycat for their Magic Eye, which was reversed into this. Some of your vfx structure may remain?


Choice between either or both hands.

Bound to the hand>weapon bones for slight repositioning in gpose/C+, so certain animations may cause it to jump towards weird places at their start/end.

The default VFX color is white so it can be easily recolored into whichever you like via VFXEditor's Revised Color parameter. Dark colors would need changing the Draw Mode of the polyline particle.

Included are a couple VFX textures from Nightreign, as well as some custom made ones and some repurposed vanilla ones. These need to be vertical (90ΒΊ rotated to the right from as you would read them). Textures will deform depending on movement speed.

!! Your choice of antialias (DLSS vs FSR) will greatly affect the look of this when in motion, and shaders will treat it as what it is (a VFX with no model in it), so beware DOFs and such.

Currently only a single color is packed into the mod, this may change if others get sufficiently requested, but I promise you it's a very easy edit; I just prefer to keep my mods low on file count. The preview shows straight lines for ease of view and demonstration, but the VFX will follow the path of your hands in whatever shape they move.
